We recently came up with the idea to make hanging plant hangers from recycled fishing gear!

My name is Elle and from since I was a baby I have been in and around the water! My dad is a local Fisherman who fishes out of Hayle. I have grown up in and around his fishing lifestyle giving me a passion for the sea!

From since I can remember I have been doing all sorts of activities in the ocean from fishing to surfing to stand up paddle boarding! I even got the chance to go and compete in the world championships for stand up paddle boarding in China in 2018!

I’m not only passionate about the sea but I am also passionate about the creatures that live within it! When I finished school I did my Marine Biology degree in Falmouth as marine life is what I love! We recently came up with the idea to make hanging plant hangers from recycled fishing gear. This is using all the old rope and floats that would otherwise be being sent to landfill. By doing this, we are doing our bit to help our seas and the planet but also making something useful and beautiful out of it too!
